Selection guide
METIGO builds the ALUBERG aluminium mobile scaffold in two widths, 770 and 1370 mm. Both ranges come in standard sets for working heights from 3 to 12 m in 1 m steps, with a load capacity of 200 kg/m² (class 3 per EN 1004). Two questions decide the choice: how high you need to work, and how many people and how much material the platform has to carry.
The working height is 2 m above the platform height. Standard (S) sets according to the METIGO 2026 bill of materials – total set weight and number of parts:

Stabilisers AL-016 (4 pcs) are part of the 770 S sets from 5 m working height and the 1370 S sets from 6 m. The lowest 3 m set runs on ø150 mm castors; taller sets use adjustable ø200 mm castors. The platform height increment is 28 cm.
Footprint 1915 × 770 mm, 770 mm wide ladder frames. Designed for one worker in corridors, flats and areas with a limited footprint. The narrow version is designed to pass through a standard doorway – check the door opening and the outer dimensions of the set before moving it. Nobody may stay on the platform while the tower is moved.
Footprint 1915 × 1370 mm, platform made of two decks side by side. Suited to two-person work, bulkier material, production halls and façades where access width is not an issue. It does not fit through a standard doorway.
Standard ALUBERG sets end at a working height of 12 m. For higher work we offer the wide COSMOS Marte L (1.35 m wide, working height up to 13.99 m). The narrow COSMOS alternative is Marte S (0.74 m wide).
Applications
ALUBERG is an aluminium mobile scaffold to PN-EN 1004 / EN 1004 for indoor and outdoor use. The rules differ depending on where you work.
Indoors the standard allows a platform height of up to 12 m, so the full range of 3–12 m sets can be used. For flats and rooms behind doors choose the narrow 770 range. The floor must be level (levelling tolerance ≤ 1%) and load-bearing (min. 0.1 MPa), with castors braked during work.
In halls the scaffold is often moved between workstations. For two-person work and longer jobs the wide 1370 range is the better fit. Move the tower only with nobody on the platform, and check castor brakes, stabilisers and joints before climbing again.
Outdoors the maximum platform height without anchoring is 8 m – for ALUBERG that means sets up to 10 m working height (platform 8.0 m). For façade work choose the Standard (S) configuration with stabilisers, a firm and level base, and work only in the weather conditions permitted by the METIGO manual.

The number of parts grows with height: the 770 S set has 13 parts at 3 m and 47 parts at 12 m, the 1370 S set 14 and 50 parts respectively.
The wide range uses heavier 1370 ladder frames and a platform made of two decks instead of one.
Standard (S) sets include four AL-016 stabilisers from 5 m (770) or 6 m (1370). Variant B with ballast outriggers and AL-021 blocks is supplied on specific request.
The 3 m set runs on ø150 mm castors; sets from 4 m use adjustable ø200 mm castors.
Parts beyond the bill of materials, ballast blocks for variant B or spare parts AL-001 to AL-021 are quoted separately.
A scaffold set can weigh several hundred kilograms and ships from the METIGO warehouse in Poland, COSMOS platforms from Italy. Delivery is therefore calculated for each order by weight, dimensions and address – we include it in the quote together with availability.
